We welcome individuals, families, friend groups, and community groups to join us as ongoing volunteers at our TurnStyles Thrift store on Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park. Whether you're looking for a one-time experience or a regular volunteer commitment, there's a place for you here. Volunteers assist with a variety of hands-on tasks that keep our store running and support TurnStyles' mission of making quality goods accessible to neighbors in need.

Age Guidelines

- Volunteers ages 8-13 must be accompanied by a participating adult at all times

- Volunteers ages 14 and older may volunteer without parental supervision

Volunteer Guidelines (Please Review)

- All sessions are overseen by a Catholic Charities staff member

- Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for active, hands-on work

- Each volunteer must sign up individually, including adult companions

Groups and Families

We love welcoming groups! Please ensure every member of your party is signed up individually before your shift. If you are coordinating a larger group visit, contact us in advance so we can best prepare for your team.
