Building a Neurodiversity Affirming Workplace will guide participants in understanding neurodiversity and the value it brings to organizations. We will examine common barriers faced by both employers and neurodivergent individuals, from hiring practices to everyday communication and expectations. Participants will hear a firsthand account from a neurodivergent individual sharing his employment experience, offering valuable lived perspective. The session will also explore practical strategies and provide actionable steps to foster more inclusive, accessible, and supportive workplace environments.
