Katie Scott was an inspiration to many and lit up every room with her smile and personality. Her energy was contagious, and she was passionate about helping anyone in need. In Feb 2018, Katie lost her fight to the rare bone cancer, Ewing Sarcoma. During her battle, she received multiple blood transfusions which helped her recover from chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Receiving those transfusions was critical to her quality of life and ability to keep fighting. We are so thankful to those who donated blood which allowed Katie more time with family and friends. 

2026 marks the 9th Annual Katie Scott Inspired Blood Drive. Your life-saving gift through blood donations also serves as a gift of time; Time for those receiving that gift to recover from surgery, time to watch a child grow up or time to have those final moments with loved ones.
