The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce seeks a full-time Public Policy Coordinator.

Responsibilities: This position will conduct research on legislative, regulatory, and policy issues relevant to the Chamber and utilize the research to support the Chamber’s advocacy agenda. Duties include drafting position statements, writing policy briefs, preparing presentations, and developing media advocacy strategies and materials.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must demonstrate exceptional research, communication, technical, and organizational skills. Candidates must have experience working with public policy data and research to inform and advance policy priorities.  Bachelor’s degree and professional experience in public policy preferred. Knowledge of Overland Park and Johnson County is a plus.

Hours: Full-time
