Looking for a Licensed Mental Health Clinician/Therapist! (We are looking for someone who would like to see adults and children and has evening hours)
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexible hours and to make their own schedule and is ready to join a practice with a great team!
Health Insurance Stipend of $425 monthly for full-time clinicians plus $400 CEU credit annually.
Our medical billing team is already set up so if you applied and we hired you then we would get you on all insurance panels within a short period and you will be ready to go!
We are ideally looking for someone to work up to scheduling 10-20 clients per week (you can set your own hours) and we offer competitive compensation! If you are looking for a relaxed, team focused private practice atmosphere then we would love to hear from you!
If you already have a part time position elsewhere this is a perfect opportunity to expand your caseload.
We are also looking for a clinician with an established referral network and if you are skilled at networking that is a plus!
Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing effective mental health intervention to assigned clients (children, adolescents and adults), coordinating with primary care physicians, referrers, insurance carriers or other agencies, completing and maintaining documentation and records.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets with clients to assess their needs, provides complete diagnosis, in collaboration with clients determines manageable problem focus and treatment priorities. Clients may include: children, adolescents, families, adults and elders.
- Presents timely treatment plans to electronic medical records software.
- Interacts effectively with each client. Works with clients and, when appropriate, their support systems to produce behavioral, cognitive, and/or emotional changes that meet treatment goals. Evaluates client progress and revises treatment plans as needed.
- Works collaboratively with payers, referrers, primary care physicians, and community agencies in providing effective treatment to clients.
- Completes all necessary documentation within required time parameters for each client. For example: assessments and treatment plans, insurance authorizations, problem-oriented progress notes, and treatment summaries.
- Maintains current licensed status and, if applicable, obtains licensure as agreed upon hire. Adapts to new developments in field through continuing education.
- Must have basic computer skills: Ability to navigate the internet and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in social work, mental health counseling, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or counseling psychology from an accredited institution.
- Must be licenses or license eligible (LCSW, LCMFT, LPC, Ed.D, Psy.D, Ph.D) and have completed all coursework for licensure
- Prefer someone who is dually licensed in Kansas and Missouri
- Be familiar and sensitive to diverse cultures and ethnicity
