About Light The Night

Join us in bringing light to the darkness of cancer! At Light The Night we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by blood cancers. Companies, community partners, families, and sponsors join to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this community help Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) fund life-saving blood cancer research around the world, provide free information and support services, and be the voice for those seeking access to quality, affordable, and coordinated care.

Registration is free, but walkers are encouraged to raise funds or donate to the Blood Cancer United mission.

Light The Night Kansas City Event Details

Date of Event: Saturday, October 11, 2025

Event Location: Cleveland University - Kansas City, 10850 Lowell Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210

Parking Logistics: Free parking will be available in surrounding lots. A parking map will be provided to registered attendees before event day.

Approximate Opening Ceremony: 7:30 pm

Approximate Fireworks Show: 7:50 pm
