"Jack Stack Barbecue of Overland Park opened in 1997, building on a journey that began years earlier with the original Smoke Stack in Martin City. After growing a successful restaurant and catering business, Jack Fiorella and Case Dorman chose Overland Park as the next step for expansion, seeing it as a community with strong roots and room to grow. The Overland Park location became our proof of concept, helping establish the Jack Stack Barbecue name and our presence across the Kansas City metro. The city’s support and loyal guests played a key role in our success, making Overland Park an essential part of who we are today."
