Description
Calling all Overland Park entrepreneurs and small business owners! The Overland Park Chamber's Economic Development Council is launching a pilot micro grant program with an open application window from January 5 to March 15. Grant awards range between $500 to $3,000.

Funding considerations will be based on the following criteria:
Are you an Overland Park small business with fewer than 25 FTE?
Are you in good standing with the State of Kansas?
Have you been in business for a year or more?
Can you demonstrate financial stability for your company?
Are you able to match up to $3k in either monetary or in-kind investment for the requested project?
Is your funding request related to one of the following?
-Staff development (professional development, certifications, training, etc.)
-Paid internships (funding to start internship program/pay for high school or college interns)
-Business improvements (repairs, updates, paint, awnings, signage, professional services)
-Technology upgrades (hardware, software, connectivity, point of sale systems)
-Equipment
-Commercialization
-Proof of concept
