Shred Day at Central Bank

Description

"Central Bank of the Midwest is holding a free shred day for our community only at our College & Quivira location (11900 College Blvd). We will have shred trucks on-site for the community to drive-through and drop off documents that need shredding. This is a free service to the community but we are encouraging that people consider making a donation to the Overland Park Police Department Chaplains Fund (checks can be made payable directly to the fund). We encourage you to promote this to your staff. 

 The OPPD Chaplains’ Fund was created to directly support police officers that encounter people in financial need during the course of their duties. These can include such things as food, a car seat, and emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence, to name a few. Historically, officers would pay their own money or the need would go unmet. This organization/fund was created so that the Chaplain’s fund can support community needs instead of officer’s feeling the need to come out-of-pocket to help those in need.
