JCCC STEM Poster Symposium

Description

JCCC students will present their research or projects in a conference-style poster session. 

• Research or projects may be from individuals, small groups, or entire classes.
• Student projects or research may have been completed as any of the following:
  • an assignment within a STEM course at JCCC
  • an Honors project
  • independent research or study
• Student work must have occurred under the supervision or guidance of a current JCCC faculty member

The goals of the symposium include:

• Providing students an opportunity to showcase their research or project in a conference setting
• Building confidence in communicating STEM-related information
• Providing students with feedback from judges who are experts in their fields
• Providing an opportunity for students and faculty to collaborate
• Providing an opportunity to stimulate interest in STEM-related fields
