Growing Kindness Celebration at the OP Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

Growing Kindness is a new, monumental sculpture of stainless-steel poppies at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Inspired by the artwork of Overland Park native Jeffrey Owen Hanson (1993-2020), the 30-foot sculpture has been fabricated and installed by Zahner, of Kansas City.

Jeff Hanson donated paintings to over 200 charities across the country, raising $7 million for various causes. Jeff’s core belief inspires all of us to promote and “grow kindness.”
