HNTB Signs 25,650 SF Lease at Aspiria in Overland Park

Employee-owned infrastructure solutions firm, HNTB, will relocate its Overland Park office to a new space within the 207-acre Aspiria campus in January 2023. The company signed a multiyear, 25,650-square-foot lease.


Founded in 1914, the infrastructure giant offers engineering and architecture services. HNTB’s recent notable projects include the Denver International Airport, the Las Vegas Raiders' Allegiant Stadium, and the Los Angeles International Airport. The firm’s local projects include the University of Kansas Memorial Stadium renovation, the Buck O’Neil Bridge replacement project in downtown Kansas City, and the KC streetcar extension.


Savills Vice Chairmen Dina Zavislak and Charles Daggett, along with Chris Wally of Wally & Company, guided HNTB in its real estate strategy.


“HNTB was exploring relocating and expanding its Kansas office, and the firm sought a new location that would provide an elevated workplace experience for its employees,” said Zavislak. “The Aspiria campus is undergoing a repositioning that appeals to tenants as it will fit the style of today’s workforce. HNTB will be able to create a compelling new office space for employees and benefit from the amenities Aspiria offers.”


HNTB has 76 offices across the United States. It is ranked No. 11 in the Top 500 Design Firms by Engineering News-Record, a leading publication recognizing excellence in design and technical expertise, honoring the work completed on behalf of clients.
