YP Cares - Volunteer at Harvesters

Join the OP Chamber Young Professionals in our first philanthropy opportunity of 2026 at Harvesters!

Volunteers will sort and repack food, which assists Harvesters and its pantry partners in feeding more than 250,000 people each month. 

Volunteer tasks vary per day and are assigned based on product availability and project prioritization. Volunteer Engagement Center opportunities include: 

  • Sorting and boxing bread
  • Sorting fresh produce
  • Packing foods in our clean room
  • Packing Senior Commodity Food Boxes
  • Sorting nonperishable food drive donations 

Registrations due by February 23 at noon.

*IMPORTANT* Harvesters requires a volunteer form to be completed in order to participate. After registering through the Chamber event portal, you will receive a confirmation email with further information on completing Harvesters volunteer form. If you do not receive this form, please contact Hannah Melton at hmelton@opchamber.org for assistance. 

"Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 900 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. We also offer education programs to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about good nutrition."
